How We Work

The Trust helps about 75 people by making regular monthly payments and usually an additional payment at Christmas. Currently a beneficiary receives £40 per month and Christmas payment of £60, a total of £540.

The City of Glasgow Society of Social Service recommends potential beneficiaries to the Trust. If there are funds available, and the person passes an examination by the Trust's doctor they are accepted. The City of Glasgow Society of Social Service helps the Trust distribute payments and reports annually on the well-being, or otherwise, of the beneficiaries.

Funds

Our funds are principally from our investments, but also the Trust receives some generous donations from other Charities to help meet the payments.
